What is a Mastermind Group?
A mastermind group is a peer-to-peer mentoring concept used to help members achieve success with input and advice from the other group members. The concept was coined in 1925 by author Napoleon Hill in his book The Law of Success and described in more detail in his 1937 book, Think and Grow Rich.
In his books, Hill discussed the idea of the Master Mind, which referred to two or more people coming together in harmony to solve problems.
Cooperation through the use of mastermind groups was one of the laws of success that Hill learned studying successful Americans including Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Theodore Roosevelt, John D. Rockefeller, and Charles M. Schwab.

What is the structure of a Mastermind Group?
Each virtual session will be a ~60 minute meetings structured as:
Overview: Each member quickly fills the group in on struggles and successes since the last meeting and informs the group of plans for the following time period.
Main Content: The host introduces and guides members through the main content as decided by the group. This could be featuring one member looking for advice around an opportunity or struggle, a guest speaking or one member instructing and answering questions on a particular area of expertise.
Wrap-Up: The moderator will start to wrap up the discussion when time approaches the end of an agreed meeting period. They will also present an opportunity for any quick items or questions before opening the option for people to leave the meeting. (Sometimes people stay after and have informal discussions.)
